Eye of the Storm

Can you stay calm in the eye of the storm?

I was recently standing outside in a Nor’easter. The rain was coming down. The wind was moving everything around me. It make me think about how much the fertility journey can feel like this.

There can be so much uncertainty. High hopes followed by disappointment. Waiting. Wondering. Googling. Hormonal shifts. Medical appointments. Test results. Moments of hope—and moments when everything feels completely out of your control.

It can feel like the winds of change are constantly moving around you.

While you may not be able to control the storm, you can learn how to become steady within it.

This is at the heart of Fertility Yoga.

Through yoga, breathwork, meditation, nervous system practices, and mindful awareness, you can begin to cultivate an embodied sense of safety and steadiness—so that every change in the external world doesn't have to pull you completely off center.

The goal isn't to never feel anxious, scared, sad, or uncertain.

It's to develop the capacity to feel what you feel without losing yourself in it.

To remember that beneath the noise, the waiting, and the uncertainty, there is still a place within you that is whole, that knows how to breathe, that knows how to soften. A place that knows how to come home to itself.

If you’re ready to shift the spiral into steadiness, begin with the Fertility Yoga Sanctuary, a 7 day audio journey designed to help you regulate your nervous system, cultivate embodied ease, and reconnect with self-trust throughout your fertility journey.

You don't have to stop the storm.

You can learn to find your center within it.
