3 Mindfulness Tools To Help Manage the Stress of TTC

  1. Name It To Tame It: Notice how you’re feeling in your body. Name how you’re feeling and identify where in your body this is experienced.

  2. Feel It to Heal It: (No bypassing here!) Let the emotions or tears move through your body. It has to move THROUGH in order to move OUT. This will help regulate and recalibrate your emotions and autonomic nervous system.

  3. Movement is Medicine: Move your body by going for a walk or participating in an activity you enjoy (such as Fertility Yoga!). This helps tone the vagus nerve, which regulates the nervous system, and can provide a shift in perspective. Once you feel differently in your body you can prime your mind with reminders that where you are on the fertility journey is separate from your worth, deservingness and ability ro receive and expereince love
